Life at the hostel

Much more than a stay. An experience.

The bed is part of the choice. So is the day the guest is going to live. Dormis helps the hostel create that day and show it to people who are still deciding.

The booking

A beautiful website, ready to sell beds. And a WhatsApp that sells too.

On the website or in the chat, people see the same availability and the same price. Front desk replies, sends the link and the booking lands in the hostel's operations.

The routine goes on

The booking happens. The hostel moves with it.

Ana's booking carries on into occupancy, payment and expected arrival. The team follows the same event to welcome the guest and get her bed ready.

The hostel's social network

A social network just for your hostel. Before arriving, the guest is already part of it.

Feed, stories, activities with “I'm going”, groups and messages, like on Instagram, but only for people who stay at the hostel. On the website and in the app, with push notifications.

The hostel's app

An app with your hostel's name. In the guest's pocket, before, during and after.

If the hostel wants, it publishes an app on Google Play with its own name, icon and colors. Booking, stay, social network and push notifications: the guest doesn't need to remember to open anything.

Compare

To get the same, a hostel usually combines six tools.

Each one solves one part and keeps its own copy of the guest. None of them knows what the others saw, and you're the one who connects them.

Questions

What every hostel owner asks.

What is Dormis?

A solution for hosting people: a website with direct booking, property management, a social network, an app and a team of agents, all working from the same context. The tools change; the hostel is one and the same.

Do I need a team to use it?

No. A single manager can run the whole hostel, with the agents alongside. When the team arrives, you invite people and choose what each one sees and does.

Do the agents work on their own?

They take care of the routine, like replying on WhatsApp and moderating the social network. Anything that changes the hostel, like publishing a post or recording an expense, goes through your confirmation.

How do guests pay?

With Pix or card, through the hostel's own Mercado Pago, with a deposit if you want. Someone else can also pay for them with a link.

Does it work with Booking, Airbnb, Hostelworld and Expedia?

Yes, through Beds24: bookings from these channels go onto the hostel's map, and availability and prices go from Dormis to them.

Is there an app?

If your hostel wants one, yes: an app with its name, icon and colors, published on Google Play under the hostel's own account. The iOS version comes next.

Does it work for a guesthouse or vacation rental?

Yes. Dormis was designed with hostels in mind, with per-bed sales and volunteering, but it works just as well for those who rent only rooms or the whole house.

Is there another solution that does the same?

There are good property management systems and good channel managers. A social network for the hostel, an app with its name and a guest service inbox that knows the real occupancy, all in the same system: we haven't found that in any other solution.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the size of the property and on whether it has the app and social network: from R$198 to R$410 per month, plus a one-time setup fee of R$2,400. No lock-in and no cancellation fee. The amounts are in the Pricing section.

How do I sign up?
